Nearshore Critical Infrastructure
The Problem
A critical infrastructure facility located near a waterway was identified as being vulnerable to physical attack by way of the sea.
The Solution
To evaluate security system effectiveness, a red team was tasked with penetrating the facility at night without being discovered. Pathfinder was strategically installed to allow the facility security team to identify the location of red team members and apprehend them far before they could be a threat to the facility.
The Result
Pathfinder effectively alerted the security team of the red team’s location and progress the moment they stepped onto the beach and along several pathways of approach, allowing apprehension of the red team before they reached the facility target.
THE PATHFINDER ADVANTAGE
Automated Targeting
Pathfinder can integrate with ground and air-based camera systems put eyes on target as anautomated “slew to cue” or “fly to cue” capability.
Undetectable
With only the antenna exposed, Pathfinder is undetectable to the human eye and its short burst radio signal is hidden in the noise.
User-Friendly
Simplified wireless architecture allows for easy installation.
