Effective March 19th, Jeff Wilkins has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and an ARA Senior Vice President. Jeff will also serve as Secretary and Treasurer of ARA Holdings, Inc., ARA’s parent corporation. Jeff joined ARA in 2007, as CFO, and served in that role until late 2009. Since 2009, Jeff has been serving ARA’s Corporate Finance Department providing analysis, recommendations, and hands-on support as needed to address potential investments, acquisitions, capital structure changes, cost and pricing strategy, compliance, and other emerging business issues. He brings over 37 years of professional financial strategy and management experience to his role.
“WE ARE EXCITED TO HAVE JEFF STEP BACK INTO HIS ROLE AS ARA CFO. JEFF SERVED AS ARA’S CFO DURING A KEY AND FORMATIVE TIME PERIOD IN OUR HISTORY, WHEN ARA WAS DESIGNATED A MAJOR GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR. JEFF SPEARHEADED AND GUIDED ARA THROUGH THE INITIAL UPGRADING OF OUR BUSINESS SYSTEMS, REQUIRED BY ALL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MAJOR CONTRACTORS. OVER THE PAST 8 YEARS, ON A HALF-TIME BASIS, JEFF HAS SERVED AS AN INVALUABLE RESOURCE, SUPPORTING AND PARTICIPATING IN ALL SENIOR MANAGEMENT AND BOARD MEETINGS, PROVIDING EXPERT ADVICE AND COUNSEL IN THE AREAS OF FINANCE, ACCOUNTING, AND CONTRACTS.” – ROB SUES, ARA CEO AND PRESIDENT
Jeff will be stepping in to replace Bill Dass, who is retiring after almost 38 years of service to ARA.
“We will surely miss Bill and all he has done for ARA, in particular, leading the Capital Area Division through tremendous growth and more recently serving as Deputy CEO for Business Operations,” said Rob Sues, ARA CEO and President.
