ASCE Recognizes ARA Civil Engineer

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) recently named Joseph Dib as one of the 2025 New Faces of Civil Engineering – Professional. Dib is a senior civil engineer with Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA).

The 2025 New Faces of Civil Engineering – Professional award recognizes ten exceptional, highly-accomplished civil engineers aged 30 or younger from around the world. “These talented young engineers represent the best of what the industry is now and promise even greater things for the future,” according to ASCE.

ASCE also profiled Dib and his journey from his home country of Lebanon to his civil engineering career with ARA in an article titled “Dib paves road to success far from home.”

In the article, Dib says he hopes to continue leveraging new technologies to bridge the gap between research and practical applications in civil engineering, while also helping to inspire and develop a crop of future industry leaders.

“I’m fortunate that ARA shares this vision of developing future leaders and fully supports my professional growth and facilitating my mission,” he said.

For more than 30 years, ARA has helped advance critical infrastructure, serving municipal, state, federal, military and private organizations worldwide with a range of products and services that support the full infrastructure life cycle.
