The New Mexico Technology Council (NMTC) has recognized Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) as a 2024 Flying 40 Awardee. ARA leads the list of New Mexico’s highest revenue-producing tech companies with $600 million in revenue in fiscal year 2023.
“ARA stands out for its innovative contributions to national security, healthcare, and environmental sectors, delivering technologies that enhance safety, resilience, and preparedness,” NMTC said. “Their work spans cybersecurity, emergency response, and infrastructure protection, ensuring communities are safeguarded and supported by cutting-edge solutions. ARA’s role in addressing critical challenges, while driving economic growth, makes them a vital player in securing public well-being and advancing technological progress.”
For over 25 years, the Flying 40 Awards have recognized locally owned and operated tech companies diversifying the local economy and creating a brighter future for New Mexico, according to NMTC. The awards, which began in 1998, aim to highlight the achievements of some of the state’s top-performing technology companies, while celebrating their contributions to the state’s economy.
