Two ARA security experts, Kenneth Herrle and Nancy Renfroe, will present “Lessons Learned Through a Security Design Review” at the 2019 Global Security Exchange on Sept. 11.
The interactive discussion will explore security design errors uncovered during years of security design peer reviews for various organizations.
The event, which takes place Sept. 8-12, brings together the full spectrum of security professionals to exchange ideas and lessons learned, keep informed of current and emerging risks, and gain exposure to the emerging technologies shaping society and our workplaces.
Renfroe is an ARA vice president and certified Physical Security Professional with 39 years of experience in physical security, security risk management, disaster management, and training.
Herrle has 20 years of experience in structural dynamics and advanced analysis and design methods, and works closely with architects and engineers from multiple disciplines to incorporate comprehensive protective design details, physical security provisions, and resilience principles into new and retrofit designs for facilities and infrastructure systems.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer in nine states and Washington D.C., and holds Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certificate.
