ARA Announces the Release of DPlot Version 3.0

ARA is pleased to announce the release of DPlot Version 3.0, a major update to the powerful plotting software used by engineers, scientists, and analysts.

This new version brings a complete overhaul of the user interface, now built on the Microsoft .NET Framework, offering improved security, enhanced performance, and seamless compatibility with Windows 10 and Windows 11.

With this update, DPlot 3.0 eliminates previous limitations on the number of curves, enabling users to handle larger datasets than previously possible, up to the memory and graphics limitations of your computer.  Developers have made an effort to maintain backward compatibility with prior file and plot formats as much as possible. The transition to a modern framework paves the way for long-term support, future enhancements, improved security, and a more robust plotting experience.

Key features of DPlot 3.0 include:

  • A completely modernized user interface for improved usability and performance.
  • Flexible data plotting support: 2D plots, bar charts, scatter charts, polar plots, tripartite plots, and more.
  • Flexible scaling options, including linear, logarithmic, and probabilistic.
  • Enhanced 3D plotting with a new interactive 3D rendering library.
  • Continued Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) support for 2D plots. Additional DDE and API capabilities will be expanded with future enhancements.
  • Integration of the GNU Scientific Library and ExprTk expression library for advanced function generation, parsing, and numerical data processing.

While some specialty features and plot types are still in development due to the extensive UI overhaul, we remain committed to continuously expanding DPlot’s capabilities. Regular updates will bring additional enhancements, ensuring users have access to the best possible tools for their data visualization needs.

As part of our commitment to ongoing support and innovation, DPlot is transitioning to a subscription-based model. Subscribers will receive continuous software updates and technical support, ensuring they always have access to the latest features and improvements. Volume, educational, and site licenses are available for purchase in addition to individual licenses. DPlot 3.0 is available now.
