What We Do
The Huntsville office team uses creativity and innovation to protect the lives of our Warfighters. This office features state-of-the art capabilities in engineering, welding and machining, fabrication, painting, sewing, composites and chemistry labs to build specialized prototype systems. We are part of the ARA team solving problems of global importance.
Things to Do
Space Centers
The Davidson Center for Space Exploration is a must see, featuring artifacts like the Apollo 16 Command Module and an Apollo 12 moon rock. The mighty Saturn V Rocket is on display at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC).
Monte Santo State Park
Monte Sano State Park boasts an expansive 2,140 outdoor acres, where hikers can enjoy 20 miles of trails. It also features 14 paved miles for those who enjoy cycling. In spring those trails are in full bloom with native azaleas.
Tennessee River and Ditto Landing
On the southern edge of the city on the banks of the Tennessee River, Ditto Landing is framed by mountain foothills. Fishing enthusiasts and novices alike enjoy wetting a hook to catch bass, bream, and catfish. Boaters of all types enjoy the marina. Ditto Landing is an ideal spot for water skiing and swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddling, and features over 70 campsites.
